Palenciana is placed to the south of the province of Cordova, bordering on that of Malaga. This villa occupies the southern part of the SubAndalusian Cordobesa called, is placed to an altitude of 399 meters and to 104 kilometers from the capital of the province.
For Palenciana's streets, they can turn ancient houses of the traditional architecture of the land, which correspond especially to the 19th century. Two houses stand out in the central square of Our Lady of Carmen, that they form urban development set with the front of the parish. These houses correspond to the numbers 6 and 12.
