The origins of this museum go back to the first years of the decade of the seventies of last century. The first activity museográfica is an exhibition in the year 1972 in the headquarters of the Agrarian Local Chamber with pieces gathered in the deposits of the municipal area. There are great the persons who collaborate with donations of pieces found during the agricultural labors. This process of recovery of the Archaeological Heritage culminates on February 20, 1985, when the Municipal Plenary session decides the creation of Fuente-Tójar's Historical Municipal Museum. At present, and after a series of remodelings, the museum possesses three showrooms, across which a tour is established by Fuente-Tójar's history, from his first settlers up to the current importance.
