The Museum of Alcaracejos's Slaughter bases his content on the baby of the pork, his sacrifice, his utilization and what has supposed this tradition for the economy of subsistence of the Region of The Pedroches, and more concretely of Alcaracejos.
The principal approach of the Museum turns concerning the activity of the slaughter, a festive event that assembles to the whole family: parents, brothers, children, neighbours and more close friends, besides providing the pantry for the long year.
The sacrifice of the pork and his parallel rituals, which for centuries used as the base for the survival, are now little more than a recollection, but the products of the slaughter, always they will be the products of the slaughter.
